Ms. Lauryn Hill

June 21

Mahalia: 18.00 – 18.45

Laura Mvula: 19.30 – 20.30

Ms. Lauryn Hill: 21.00 – 23.00

Global superstar Ms. Lauryn Hill will bring The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill plus Fugees classics and new material to the Great Court on Friday 21st June.

Joining the sublime Ms. Hill are two women who grew up with her music: the pioneering Laura Mvula and the BBC Music Sound of and Brits Critics’ Choice nominee Mahalia.
Performing a career-spanning set that will include music from her iconic solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, plus hits from The Fugees’ masterpiece The Score, her set at Nocturne will also include brand new music.
A game-changer in the truest sense, Ms. Lauryn Hill has sold over 50 million records and holds the record for most Grammys won in one night by a solo female artist.
Both The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and The Score appear on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Nocturne is turning The Great Court at Blenheim Palace into a grand arena, as befits the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. We’re inviting world-class acts, building a stage and bringing live music back to the palace after a decade long hiatus. Nocturne can be an all-day affair with VIP dining in the famous State Rooms, a stroll in the palace’s vast grounds or a waterside picnic. It can also be an evening gig for those who just want to buy a ticket to hear their favourite live music, and nothing else.
